Michelle is a graduate of Grand Valley State University with degrees in Exercise Science and Dance. During her time at Grand Valley she completed internships with the YMCA and The Detroit Medical Center’s Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan. She even spent time working as an aerial silk performer and contortionist with a performing arts company out of Grand Rapids. As a recent transplant to the east side of Michigan she was immediately drawn to the fast-paced workouts of Orangetheory Fitness as well as the great atmosphere that promotes well-rounded physically active lifestyles.
 
WHAT DO YOU BURN FOR?
stress relief, self esteem, and food! One of my biggest passions in life is cooking and eating delicious food and OTF allows me to do that without worry.
 
WHAT’S YOUR GUILTY PLEASURE?
My unhealthy food cheat day.

Anything involving the TRX straps.

Connies passion is to professionally train, educate, and motivate/challenge individuals to reach their fitness goals in a fun and inviting atmosphere.
Certifications: American Council of Exercise (ACE), American Fitness Association of America (AFAA), Aquatics Exercise Association (AEA), Aqua Flex, Insanity, Tabata, CPR and First Aid.
Specialties: One on One Training, Small Group Training, Team Training, Running Coach and Group Fitness Classes including spinning/cycle, weight training, core training, step, interval/circuit training, boot camp, stretch/flexibility and water aerobics.

Adam is a NASM certified personal trainer and graduate of Eastern Michigan University. He is a former division 1 college athlete, competing for Eastern’s track & field team, specializing in the pole vault. He has spent the last few years working with high school athletes as well as coaching boot camp classes and individual training sessions, but a love for being part of a high-energy, positive team environment led him to Orangetheory Fitness.

I burn for being relentless in my effort to create a better version of myself each day, and inspiring others to do the same.

HEART MONITORED TRAINING

 

Backed by the science of post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC), our heart-rate monitored training is designed to keep heart rates in a target zone that stimulates metabolism and increases energy. Our clients burn an estimated 500 to 1000 calories per workout. We are 5 zone heart-rate interval training.

COACH SUPPORT

 

Working out in a group provides accountability and structure to help achieve fitness goals. You are more likely to get a great workout and better results from the well-rounded movements and pace direction you get in a group setting. The session motivates each other to pick up the pace and reach beyond plateaus. People who workout in groups stick to their goals more consistently than those that workout alone.
